About me
A registered Midwife, Hypnobirth teacher and Craniosacral Therapist; I initially trained as a nurse in the 80’s and qualified as a Midwife in 1993. Throughout my career, I have been privileged to care for women, babies and their families throughout pregnancy and then after birth. My passion has been to meet family’s individual needs, in a holistic way, however they choose to birth.
I am based in Bolton and hold group sessions in a private clinic. I also provide 1-1 classes in your home in the surrounding areas of Bolton, though I can travel up to 20 miles radius.

Even though I attended many births, in 2013, I inadvertently cared for a woman during birth who was using hypnobirthing techniques and was amazed at the serenity and speed at which she birthed. The birth was beautiful, as is every birth, but this was different to any that I had ever witnessed. I began to investigate further and chose to train as a hypnobirth teacher in London with a midwife/hypnobirth teacher who was accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. I also undertook further training with Katherine Graves, renowned Hypnobirth teacher.
So, my journey with this gentle, empowering way of birthing began.
I discovered the dynamic benefits of Craniosacral therapy when my son had treatments for a long standing problem. I was so amazed at the beneficial effects that I began the two year diploma training in 2015 and have practised as a Craniosacral Therapist since June 2017.
